Open Graph (sharing on social media)

How your page looks when someone shares it on Facebook

📖 Detailed description

Open Graph is a set of instructions for social media telling it how to display your page when someone shares it. It is the difference between an attractive preview with an image and a description, and an ugly link that nobody wants to click.

You have probably seen how some Facebook links look great - they have a large image, a catchy title, and an inviting description. Others are just a bare URL. That difference is Open Graph at work!

When your happy customers want to recommend you to their friends, Open Graph makes sure the link looks professional and inviting. It is the difference between an elegant business card and a scribble on a scrap of paper.
